The Sandbox joins list of Request Finance’s major clients

Singapore, November 23, 2021 — Request Finance is pleased to announce that the Metaverse gaming leader, The Sandbox, is the latest addition to the ranks of high-profile blockchain companies using Request Finance.

The Sandbox commenced using Request Finance’s invoicing app at the start of 2021. Impressed with the invoicing app, the blockchain-based Metaverse platform has continued to use Request Invoicing to manage all its extensive fiat-crypto invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping functions. Today, The Sandbox uses Request Invoicing to make all its payments in SAND.

The decision to use Request Invoicing came about after The Sandbox management identified the considerable costs in time and effort required to manually process and account for cryptocurrency payments. The team explored all options in the market and chose Request Invoicing because no other product had the same range of features, like invoicing requests and batch payments.

Sebastien Borget, chief operating officer for The Sandbox said:

“Request provided us a simple way to manage and pay our invoices all in one place. It reduced the time we spent making payments each month by 90%”.

Major Clients Milestone

Since launching in August 2020, Request Invoicing has processed over $144 million in crypto invoices and has gained over 900 corporate clients across the globe, including top crypto projects like AAVE, MakerDAO and Chainstack as well as regular businesses and freelancers eager to use crypto.

Christophe Fonteneau, Head of Strategic Partnerships for Request Finances said:

“As crypto becomes increasingly accepted as an asset class and payment method, we see more leading crypto organizations choosing Request to manage their financial operation with crypto”.

With a star-studded user base, and support for a growing list of over 40+ cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, 9+ fiat currencies, and 10+ blockchains, Request Invoicing is quickly becoming the leading app for crypto invoicing.

About Request Finance

Request Finance offers a blockchain-based suite of financial applications dedicated to crypto first companies. Founded in 2017, Request (REQ) is one of only a few ICOs launched during that time to deliver on its mission to the market.

Its web app allows users to generate and pay invoices in over 40 different cryptocurrencies and stablecoins across ten blockchain protocols, and nine different fiat currencies. Payments are settled in cryptocurrency, but invoices can be denominated in fiat currencies like USD, or EUR, using Chainlink’s price oracles to determine fair exchange rates. The core technology behind Request Invoicing allows issuers to easily monitor the status of an issued invoice, and to verify that a payment was made, all within the web app.

With an impressive and dedicated team, led by its co-founder Christophe Lassuyt, Request Finance continues to look forward to new levels of growth in 2021 and exciting new product features for its users.
